Waking up at 3am because I am an old man, I was able to get myself dressed warmly and go outside for a half an hour. Clear dark skies with distant suns illuminating the heavens, and in the northern skyline a white haze. The Northern Lights on one spectrum, the nightly battle of Orion fighting Taurus on the other.
